When we are brought into the project early enough we can make sure time and money is saved by eliminating duplicate or redundant meetings and products. By starting with the design phase and staying with the project all the way through final instruction we will make sure it functions precisely and easily; exactly the way it was designed to be. With capabilities and knowledge in many different areas we often can preempt mistakes far before they even get to the construction phase.

In new construction situations when we are involved early on we are very good at getting you the best value for what you want today, as well as planning for the future. For the vast majority of our clients where we are dealing with existing spaces our company is particularly adept at retrofit installations as we have a wide range of talent and tools that allows us to create stellar systems, often without the need for sheet-rock repair.
Programming, Calibration and Instruction
One of the most important phases of the project is setting the system variables and programming the user tactile or touchscreen interface. The most complex systems when properly programmed can be made easy to use as a microwave. Even the simplest systems however, can be harder to use than a graphing calculator if they aren't designed and programmed intuitively.
Many people believe that the equipment comes out of the box ready to use but this is simply not the case. Projectors, Displays and Audio systems all need to be calibrated to their usage and environment to achieve the stated performance. Ignoring or speeding over this important step absolutely guarantees you won't be receiving all the benefits and performance you paid for.
Systems Should Be Easy To Use
If you can't use and navigate the interface we program the first time you touch it, we'll redo them for free. There's no need to be afraid of the technology! It should be FUN! Instruction is by far the most important service we offer. The best technology in the world is useless if you don’t know how to use it! We dedicate as much time as necessary to insure that the system is as easy to use as possible and that the features available are intuitive for anyone who may want to use it.
Equipment Procurement, Installation and Hook-Up
Once the proper system is designed and roughed in, we will take pride in neatly and efficiently installing the components. Your whole system will be thrown off and never be what it could or should if these components are not carefully installed and hooked up.
Connecting Audio/Video equipment is becoming increasingly complicated and with the continued integration of computer technologies with A/V electronics we can only expect this trend to continue.
Fanatical About Equipment Installation
We are fanatical about making sure the equipment is installed in a very serviceable way with proper cooling, power filtering and protection. To give you the best system performance and serviceability for years to come, we not only connect the equipment and test it; we also label all of the cables and provide a flow chart to simplify any future work or service that may be done on the system, whether by AVT or another vendor. We feel you should never be held hostage by a company because they are the only ones who know how everything hooks up and is programmed. If our performance is not enough to keep you as a long-term client, then it should be your prerogative to easily try a different vendor.
Service and Maintenance
Finally the number one thing our clients say they love about us is that if they encounter any issues with their electronic systems, help is just one phone call away. As you can imagine there are many human and electronic variables that are beyond our control, but we will work with the manufacturers, employees and other vendors and service providers to get to the root of the problem. If we are to blame (as we are not perfect) we will fess up and make it right. We've never encountered a product that hasn't experienced some kind of problem over its lifespan. The difference between true professionals and "hacks" is the way they deal with them when they arise. The important part is getting someone that knows what they are doing to come replace or fix it.

A couple of options we offer to control costs is to train and work with your IT or building services to handle simple fixes, thus reducing service costs. Another option is our prepaid service and maintenance plans which allow your systems to be working at peak performance and reduce random out of pocket expenses.
